āCoalition takes foot off the gas pedalā
SWR
The Paris Climate Agreement clearly implies speeding up the Energiewende, but the Renewable Ā鶹ĪŽĀė°ę Act reform will have the opposite effect, writes Werner Eckert in a commentary for public broadcaster SWR. Instead of trying to solve the problems associated with the Energiewende, the reform is used as a pretext to paralyse the energy transition and climate protection, according to Eckert. āThis law has a fundamental flaw, and all the hard-fought little compromises donāt help at all. There simply isnāt enough determination to finish off the old energies.ā
