āNinety-six percent of solar PV bids realisedā

Almost all bids from Germanyās first round of auctions for ground-mounted solar PV projects ā which was carried-out in 2015 ā have successfully been realised and will receive support, writes Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) in a press release. āThe result is outstanding. Ninety-six percent of projects that were successful in the first auction in 2015, are now in operation,ā said state secretary in the economy ministry (BMWi) Rainer Baake in a separate press release. Only one of the 25 projects was not realised, triggering a mandatory penalty payment.
