Volkswagen, Daimler and BMW to build more than 106,000 e-cars this year
German carmakers Volkswagen, Daimler, and BMW are likely to build more than 106,000 e-cars this year, an increase of 54 percent compared to last year, according to a forecast by business consultancy PwC. Production of hybrid models by German carmakers will increase 46 percent to 330,000 units, according to the forecast. 鈥淭hese numbers suggest that German carmakers are serious about the green transition,鈥� said Christoph St眉rmer, Global Lead Analyst at PwC Autofacts.
