Modern natural gas heating systems have played a major role in reducing COā emissions, Stefan Kapferer, head of utilities lobby BDEW, says in a press release. Ending support for fossil-fuelled heating is therefore misguided, he argues. āThe government should not ignore the great potential of natural gas regarding COā reductions,ā Kapferer said.
